Week 13

Hello and welcome to week 13 and I want to shout out to a special visitor this week and thank them so much for making an appearance.


Hello mercury retrograde.


But before I get into this weeks review I just have a little something especially for all the astrology buffs out there.


S I D E N O T E

I normally don’t actually feel Mercury retrograde all that much. Being a Gemini and actually being ruled by Mercury I have always thought that I was consistently in mercury retrograde so that I had a tolerance to it. It really didn’t affect me.


Boy was I wrong.


Back to the weekly review.


I started out strong this week, I really did. I recognised that I had a lazy week last week and sort of let myself have it. I knew that I had assignments to do and I knew that I needed to get shit done and this was the week to do it.


Honestly could I have set myself up anymore for failure.


I went to the gym on Monday, that was good.


I think I ate one healthy meal, I barely even looked at all the healthy stuff I had bought, that was bad.


I came home and went to sleep about 8:30 every night which normally I am fine with if I have a day that starts at 5 am but I didn’t, so that was bad.


I ignored pretty much all of my Uni work and assignments even though there deadline was looming on me, that was bad.


I GOT A FLAT TYRE, that was very bad.


However there was some good things.


My boy bought my tickets to the footy, that was a fun time. I hosted a game nights at my apartment, that was a very fun time.


I also did end up going to the gym about 3 times this week, so much more then old school Ebony used to do but also still not the amount I need to be going, so that was a half half there.


Looking back on this week and doing my own personal review in my diary I was actually disappointed in myself and the lack of motivation I had to even get up and do anything. I literally just remained in a state of tired this week.


However I did learn something about my personal self this week, so there is a bonus. I need to have 2 consecutive days of work or I just can not function. Picking up shifts on my days off just does not help me, especially with the amount of study I have to do currently.


I need one day as a rest and one day as a Uni day. Moving forward this will be my way of living.


Finishing of, let’s just give mercury another round of applause, it is always a great time when you are here but man are we glad you are now heading in a forward direction.
