Smashing into the second week of the year and this week took a massive toll on me. Not that it is anything new to my life but it is is hard to break up my life into set weeks when you do not work Mon - Fri. The only thing that I have realised heading into this New Year and trying to find a better me ( I don't believe in "new" me) is that you need to pick a mind frame and stick to it.
So even though I don't work Mon - Fri, I have decided that that is the mind frame that I will be in the only difference is that when I am organising my week and using my weekly planner "days off" or "my weekend" generally fall on different days to everyone else.
So it is here with my weekly planner that I need to be extra on top of what is going to ensure that my week doesn't go to waste and that the most is being made of each day.
I do this by still doing the traditional weekly things on traditional days.
Sunday night: I plan out my week.
Monday: I gym.
Wednesday: I gym.
Thursday: I weekly update.
These are a few examples of what I do every week religiously so that I ensure no matter whether I work or not the important things to me always get done.
Heading into this week I was able to ensure that two weeks in i have still completed my New Years goals.
Wake up everyday at 6am
Complete every week with a beach walk on Sunday.
In regards to reading my book, I did still read small bits this week, I didn't read as much as I would like to but it was a good test for coming weeks and months that the race needs to be long and steady to ensure that I reach my goal at the end of the 12 weeks.
That was the week that was.
Before I end this blog post though I just wanted to share with you all a valuable piece of information that has changed my life that I have learnt from my current book. Now, I know that I will talk about this a million times it will be featured in so many blogs and I am more then positive it will have its own feature blog. But for now I am going to hit you with a life changing fact.
Make a list.
Make a MUST DO list.
This is a must do (see the irony) for me now, every since I read that in the book this is an absolute must do for me. Every week I start of by making a list of all the things I want to get achieved weekly and then everyday in my moment to myself I make a MUST DO list that allows me to break down my day into smaller more manageable tasks.
This ensures that all daily tasks get completed.
That will be all for now as there are plenty more organisation, list making and weekly plan ning blogs coming over to my Life and Style blogs.
So keep an eye out for them there.
